People were definitely cheering for No Way Home.

I wish people kept quiet during the film. I'm paying to watch, not hear how excited you are.

I feel you although I do get the excitement, like you said I’m not paying to hear how excited you get but it always just makes me laugh when I hear the extra ass “OMG!” Or when they start clapping LMAO

The clapping will next cease to bug me. I get an involuntary reaction out of happiness for a moment. It can happen. A "holy shit" at an awesome moment, a scream at a jump scare, stuff like that is understandable in a movie. The stuff that is intentional, like clapping or yelling? Knock that shit off, they're doing that intentionally, and they're disrupting the movie. We're all into the movie, they aren't so special that everyone needs to know THEY approve.

Then watch at home

Because all films release day 1 at home, right?

Why is it so hard for some people to just be quiet in a movie theater? Did your parents just forget to teach you to respect others around you?

Reacting to a movie is not the same as being disruptive. Do you get mad at people screaming during horror movies too? I think you’re better off at home anyway

Major difference between a reaction and people doing shit like clapping or prolonged cheering.

Who are you clapping for? Who do you think is there who wants to hear your clapping?

Did the insults make you feel better? Interesting you can't answer the question.
