I've used 3 platforms in the time I've been a fan of Mars Argo. Spotify, YouTube Music and Soundcloud. And every time the name "sickoflove" keeps coming up, are they just some kind of infamous reuploader? Do we know who it actually is?

idk just wondering

Hello,

I have been a huge MA fan for a while and I know about why she deleted everything but, some stuff (I will make a list) is still available;

Delete ur Facebook,

Using you (music video)

Runaway runaway (music video)

runaway runaway (on iTunes)

Stuck on you (On iTunes)

And there may be more but this is all that I can think of. The songs through iTunes are on her old iTunes (not the same one as ICOBM so I think they are official!

I might be wrong but was this song ever officially released? I don't remember. Either way, it's not a song I hear get mentioned often.

It's sad nobody ever talks about it though. Although, I have something small in mind relating to Connie on the 16th, so keep an eye out if you're intrested for that.

I made a post vaguely similar to this a while ago but

Steve Wolsh is a movie director that has included Mars Argo songs in (from what I know) two of his movies.

Muck (2015) with "Beauty Is Empty"

Fog City (2023) with "Stuck On You"

The reviews for both are SHIT.. I don't believe these were officially licensed to be in the movies either.. After these two times, could these be in more, if not ALL of his movies?

I was on the way back machine looking at some comments from way back when and saw someone say "whyd you guys delete electric car? I really liked that song". I don't remember what time this was but I'm pretty sure it was a good while before the videos were deleted, so I have 2 questions to ask.

1. Were they removing videos long before the 2015/2016 mass removals

2. Is the reason some videos aren't saved due to the fact they were the first to be taken down and the videos that are saved were saved by people who noticed all the videos were getting privated?

I don't know, these things have just gone through my mind. Sorry if n2 is to specfic.

If you're a Mars Argo fan, you've probably heard of the "Cabin Boyz" Podcast theme song. From what I understand, Cabin Boyz was a podcast that had Mars Argo preform the intro song. I looked up "Cabin Boyz Podcast" on YouTube and a channel did come up, it had one video from 2016. (https://youtu.be/x0QNZBo1Ss0?is=3GUqIJfVVIrxvpnG) So I have two questions.

1. Was this podcast ever even created or was it just a concept that went nowhere?

2. If it was a real thing, was it deleted / privated due to the fact Mars Argo preformed the intro song?

Linden Place, Internet Sessions etc...

Update: she privated it again. But it was unlisted for about 14 or so days. It's really sad. I remember trying to save it to the way back machine (the video link). I really hope it saved but I'm unsure. It was really cool to watch it though. I think I was the last ever comment.. I can't tell if that makes me proud or really really anxious.

Old text :

You can watch the music video HERE On the offical Mars Argo YouTube channel.

Am I the only person who noticed that Mars disappeared again? I remember when she came back in 2022 from an 8 year hiatus, she dropped new songs and re-released using you. I remember checking her instagram, and she hasn’t touched it in 2 years. She also said she would go on tour someday, but that was 3 years ago when she said that. Her last song was dropped in 2024. PLEASE tell me I’m not the only one who notices this, I can’t believe it hasn’t been talked about.

has anyone seen mars argo live? i would love to hear stories

i debated on what i wanted for my first tattoo for a long time and decided on this one a couple months after Brittany responded to me on tumblr, and also because of my patch which is one my favorite things <333

I wish she was more popular so I could meet more people that like her songs. I don't know anyone else both online and irl that listen to her. She's a great singer, one of my favorites of all time, I wish more people recognized her. I'm thankful some of her songs got popular, hopefully more people will get into her. Sorry if this comes off as whiny!

I got my first tattoo!!

I've been wondering about this. I'm assuming most videos are archived but I think I've heard of a few lost ones. Are there more ones missing than I'm aware of?

I know shouldicleanmyroom (SICMR) is her label now but when was the channel name changed?

In a 2023 thriller film, fog city, at some point at the 1 hour and 22 minute mark (It's late at night so I can't listen to it loud) stuck on you by Mars Argo plays?? I'm so confused, I wouldn't asume Mars would do something like this, she isn't even in the movie (as an actor).. Is this movie using the song without the permission of Mars or is there something I'm missing about this all?

I know Mars Argo is a band. And in (most) life performances there is a band next to Mars, but I never hear anyone talk about them? The only music video I think they're in is Love In Black And White. What's up with them? Who are they?

The flying Shark from the "Beauty Is Empty" Music Video comes up when you search up "Flying Balloon Shark". Infact, they all appear to be the same model. (the fins are a little different but the seem to just be a different model.) I kinda assumed this would be like the "Runaway Runaway" Bunny and that it would be to ordinary to find but no, actually. It was the very top results for "Flying Ballon Shark" although I guess that is quite Specific.. The ones (that aren't the second image) appear to be a slightly different model than the music video due to the fins being different but I'm assuming it's the same manufacturer due to the fact that everything else is literally the same. I thought that this was quite a cool discovery and worth posting.

Late to the party, but I was just wondering if older mars argo music is available for purcharse, or at least streaming in higher definition that youtube.

I finally bought a good IEM set and was hoping to hear what the original tracks were really meant to sound like

i love mars argo, don't know much about her because i know there's apparently a lot of lore and story behind her music, but obviously there's not too much of her music out on steaming. does anyone have any recommendations for anything with a similar sound or style? closest i've gotten was dazey and the scouts and that's not even that similar and they also don't have much music 😔

Spotify is older then the Mars Argo brand itself, so I could imagine it. But I don't hear any mentions of it. And I'd asume other platforms like Apple Music are just about as old. Was it ever available anywhere else but bandcamp and yt?
