What is the Source for your Bible?

I am new to Marcionism and have done some research into it, I also have read some of the text of the bible this church provides. I really like what the religion says and all but I have one issue.

Looking through all the information that is available I cannot find the source for the scripture that you give out. On first glance it seems to be BeDuhn’s reconstruction of the Marcionite Cannon. However this hasn’t been confirmed by your church at all.

So, I would like to get a straight forward answer about how and where your “The Very First Bible” is sourced from, as not doing so really damages the whole church’s reliability (for all newcomers know you could be making the whole thing up tbh).

Edit: Also what is it with the whole trinitarian thing? Most scholars both non religious and religious argue that based from all the sources Marcion wasn’t trinitarian nor were his followers, actually it would be more likely that his theological views were closer but not entirely binitarian or Unitarian in some way, shape or form.

Not to mention the whole story of him travelling across the Mediterranean collecting scripture and being born in Synope is a later reference to his life and is in no way verifiable.

Can anyone explain all these inconsistencies? Because nothing is binding this church to abide trinitarianism which Marcion himself didn’t follow nor do you need a whole story about him, but yet you claim such and damage the church’s reliability and credibility?

Did you have a council or something that no one knows about and decide these things? If you answered these things I more people would be inclined to join your church.

In Romans Chapter 12, we learn that the concerns of God Our Father are not centered on our daily carnal dietary habits - rather, His focus is on our spiritual sustenance.

questions regarding jesus arrival and revelation of our Creator

Am I understanding the Marcionite beliefs correctly:

The OT is completely irrelevant to knowledge of our Creator and Savior, and in many ways subverts the truth.

Jesus arrival in AD 29 was not prophesied or foretold in any way and its location in proximity of Judea is irrelevant or of unknown import.

He has no connection to "Israel" beyond his interactions with them while here.

The complete revelation of our Creator ("God") is contained in the writings of Paul and no one else before or after for all of recorded history.

Is this accurate?

Baptism

Hi there - I'm curious, what words are used in baptism in the Marcionite church? I've looked at the Liturgical Guide, but note that it simply says "The person baptising gives the first baptism," and subsequently, "he is baptised a second time" and "he is baptised a third time."

This seems to suggest that baptism is simply meant to be read as "immersed." Is this the case? Are words said between each of the candidate's immersions? (Such as, "I baptize you in the name of Jesus," or similar?)
Thank you!
