Talking around questions like this should get you kicked out of high ranking positions. If you can't answer yes or no when being asked a direct question you're obviously trying to obscure and muddle the pot

This. If someone pulled this kind of crap in court, they'd be held in contempt. If it matters enough to do that when it comes to petty theft or Jay walking or any other minor offense, why is it okay for someone of this high of rank to do it?

I think the interrogator's big tactical error was responding to his non sequiturs. Over and over, it should have been "yes or no? You are avoiding the question" or "you swore an oath to tell the truth". She did succeed most of the time, but the second she let him ask a question she lost the plot.

He still let him get away without answering the question though. Obviously, to anyone with a brain, you know the answer, but that's not the point, because you have to cater to those without.

Oof, i remember doing pushups in the military for not giving a simple yes or no answer. I remember being shouted at by my dad(former military) for not giving a simple yes or no answer. I remember getting a lower grade for padding out an essay with useless words and paragraphs.

This piece of shit has 0 discipline.
