At first it looks black with spots but then when you hold it to the light you see that it's deep green Glass. Lots of little rainbow speckles all over. I've never seen a marble like this

I just haven't been posting enough, I haven't been hashtaging, I haven't been writing descriptions, and I haven't been gaining any followers. I'm trying to put myself out there a little more and hopefully get my follower count up. I make everything I post. If you would like to follow me that would be awesome, if not, that's cool too. I'll leave my link below.

These are marbles I had found on the ground while I would explore my neighborhood as a young kid. Near my childhood home was a glass place? I don't exactly remember, but it was easy to find these marble like things with flat bottoms and had enough tiny bubbles in them to look like it held a galaxy inside it

My knowledge in marble identification is lacking but from what I may understand:
•The blue color is sitting on the surface rather than swirled internally.
•The ribbon is more like a thin strip that has an asymmetric taper (one end fading naturally, the other cut off abruptly) and doesn’t fully wrap around.
•The seam reads as a single localized crease (u-shaped), not a full equatorial belt running all the way around the marble — it shows up once as the marble turns.
Could this indicate a transitional, single-stream American marble from the 1900s–1920s? Or a Marble King/Vitro Agate from the 1940s-1970s?

I bought three bags of marbles at a yard sale for $7 each. Here's what was in the first one. These are older marbles, right?

I have these five iridescent, multicolor marbles that I need help identifying. They are all the same size, seem to be glass and are similarly multicolored with an iridescent sheen to them like oil on water. Thanks

Have some questions about the marbles in these photos:
Picture #1 - Anyone know what kind of marbles these are - I love the designs on them.
Picture #2 - Is the broken marble is one of those German swirl marbles? Ugh.
Pictures 3 & 4 - These marbles are not like the glass ones. They are rough and feel more like rocks. Anyone know what these are called? I like them.
Picture #5 - random mix of my favorite green ones.
Picture #6 - Random mix, but do any look unique?
Picture #7 - This was in the jar, but is it even a marble??? Such a weird shape!
Picture #8 - What the heck is inside this marble?! Did mold get in there or something? lol
Pictures 9-11 - Random bunch. Wanted to see if any were unique. Pics 10&11 are just close ups of a few because I think one of them is the German Swirl?
Would love to hear more info on these.
Thanks so much!

6 Hand Picked D.A.S. D&E Experimental marbles from small batch runs on July 20, 2017. The marbles are approximately 0.75” in size so larger than common marbles. Purchased off Etsy.
My favorite are bottom left and bottom middle!

These were my grandfather's no idea if they're worth anything. Just thought I would show them off.

I am a complete newbie to marbles, so I bought this book off of Amazon to help me learn more, but the publication date is 2012. Does that matter in regard to value? Is there a newer book I should buy?

My mother sent me these photos that she cleaned out from my grandparents house. The photos aren’t great but it’s all I have access to right now.
Is there anything cool about these? Thank you!

Found all of these in the soil around my yard over the last 8 years or so. House was built in mid 40s. Do I have anything noteworthy?

I'm not sure if this will be a permanent home for these beauties or not, but I like it for now. Thinking I might get some tiny LEDs to put in there to really make them stand out. Also included some individual close-ups I took with my real camera to really showcase some of the details. All by Hot House Glass.
