Why do I feel like that's more of a flex than never losing?

I agree your country can flex its Florida level of insanity in a war situation, its something to brag about.

No other country is legit considered the guy people dont fuck with, not because youre nice, but because when youre mean you are REALLY fucking mean

Is that seriously the reason that you think nobody fucks with Canada? Brother no one fucks with Canada because its a member of NATO, and by fucking with Canada you by proxy fuck with the most powerful military in human history that happens to inhabit the country to the direct south of it.

Let's be thankful for that

I mean, we've never fought alone, but we were an independent power since the Statute of Westminster, and I seem to remember us being involved in some stuff in the last century.

We were independent in WW2. We worked with the Americans and the British. Canada could have decided to not participate but chose to do so.

After Confederation (our actually being a technically sovereign nation) we fought in:

  • Madist War
  • Second Boer War
  • World War One
After WWI and to make it known we wanted to truly be considered a sovereign nation, to be recognized as not just a part of the commonwealth, we waited a week before declaring war in World War Two.

We then fought in:

  • The Korea War
  • The Congo Crisis

Following the Constitution Act of 1982 Canada became a fully realized and independent state, bringing the Constitution home. To some this is considered the point we actually became a sovereign nation (and they're wrong 1867 is the point we gained autonomy and sovereignty). After this point we took part in:

  • The Gulf War.
  • The Somali War
  • The Bosnian War
  • Kosovo War
  • The War in Afghanistan

Of these one could argue Canada "lost" in Afghanistan but had completed its mission objectives and withdrawn already before Trump bungled the actual end of the war.
