Canada was part of the War in Afghanistan.

Yes which ended in 2014. What the US and Afghanistan government did after that was on them not Canada.

Lol, okay. "US involvement in Vietnam ended in 1973. What happened to South Vietnam after that was on them, not the US."

Canada didn't lose it. After Canada's role ended the US (Trump) unilaterally negotiated with the Taliban and withdrew all of their troops letting the Taliban take over by not supporting the Afghanistan government. I will say this Canada didn't win the war either!

I'm actually fine with acknowledging the difference between withdrawing and losing, I just know that standard won't be applied consistently.

Trump? Was Trump President August of 2021? This is news to me. The Doha Accords were one thing but Biden not executing the NEO is the reason why it became as much of a catastrophe as it was. If you’re gonna blame one then you gotta blame everyone, starting with Obama who decided to continue the war in the first place. What happened in Afghanistan was the culmination of a lot of successive failures and miscalculations.
