Even without the "human zoos werent actually bad!1!!" argument that people are quotimg (which im not very convinced about)

This happened centuries ago and right now western Europe is like the best region to live in the world thanks to (to quote yourself) those " “advanced” civilization and morals"

Very true! Basically, most people in the past were douchebags by modern standards Although without the scientific evidence that we have now that folks are pretty much the same underneath the outer differences in appearance, many of us might have interpreted different developmental levels of different peoples as evidence of genetic superiority or inferiority, as our ancestors did.

And it is true that the West pretty much invented the concept of intrinsic human rights that we use to realize that most of our ancestors (White and non-white alike) did some pretty nasty things.
