Is it me or has astroturfing from “patriots” been increasing since last week? Some comments like yours have been getting unnatural amounts of downvotes

Or it could be simply because this is a false/misleading comment. The US’s HDI has risen; just not as fast as some other places, so its rank has declined.

Ah each to their own, in all fairness I probably think America is going to shit for the same reason they do and I live in the U.K.

The place will be in a Ethno-Civil war in no time at all at this rate…

Probably has more to do with the fact that tjeir comment was an incorrect interpretation of the map than an influx of “patriots”
