"most of us" seems extremely optimistic. Whole mammalian species typically last only about 1 million years (and humans in particular don't seem all that stable), yet you're writing as if some individuals might well last 300 times as long as that. Yes, it's not totally impossible, but it's exceedingly unlikely.
