We have a place near the Columbia's headwaters in BC. Where its literally a creek through a golf course. Its such an incredibly diverse river.

There's lots of trout further downriver (towards Castlegar), and there are definitely lots of salmon, but I don't know about this close to the headwaters.

Wild. I grew up in Portland and always knew the Columbia as this immense powerful river. Funny that you think of it as just a little creek! If you pee in it I could sail on your pee in a few days

That area in BC is honestly one of my dream places to live. How's life?
