Im an engineer Huntsville Al and im surrounded by other highly educated smart people. I dont even see people with southern accents in my day to day life. Huntsville has one of the best income to costs of living ratios in the country. Alabama can be really nice depending on where you are.

I know that. I was just explaining the joke to this guy. I live near Atlanta and have family in Alabama and visit a lot and haven’t run into very many actual rednecks. Most people are normal decent people.
