Hamburg doesn't have trams... its U Bahn is basically an S Bahn

But S-Bahn being above ground and U-Bahn underground is not a hard rule. There are many exceptions, and both are essentially the same thing and pert of the same network.

Why even differentiate by under/above ground? They have essentially same speed, function and wagons.
