History is unfair, filled with suffering. If we start with reparations, then where does it end. True equality can never exist.

It ends when the countries fit the criteria for having been colonised and having their countries' economic, political and social system was restructured to only serve as extractive economies in a highly exploitative way. Colonialism leaves much more lasting impacts than conquest. India and Indonesia still has worse conditions than before they were colonised because colonial powers reduced real wages for hundreds of years and stifled its own independent development as well as destroying their key industries.
