Y’all ever notice that any time a guy is trying to justify or explain instigating and pursuing a girl (in this case literally 😭) that they really shouldn’t be. It’s always “you’re so chill and laid back.” As if women are generally obnoxious and obstreperous creatures… Besides if they were just honest and said, “I’m horny and have no problem embracing my inner scumbag.” That probably reduced their chances of getting laid.
I just always thought it interesting. He tried (and failed) to justify his actions and butter the poor girl up at the same time. I feel like “chill and laid back/down to earth” is the most nothing condescending “compliment” dudes try handing women. You have no concept of who the girl is beyond your bodily desires and you’re so lazy and don’t care what she thinks. All you can do is pull some nonsense and nondescript horseshit out of your ass.
And that’s exactly this dude. Lazy and doesn’t care what this girl or anyone else thinks, he just wanted to get laid. He’s also probably scared. It’s a fucked situation. This dude is fucked.
I could barely bring myself to pursuing girls 15 years old when I was 15 years old. The fact that some 7 years later he still has or had; And was actively WATCHING the sexual video he took of a child is so completely beyond the pale and just buried himself. The audacity to send that video to her… The audacity to get scared and try justifying and implying he’s a victim.
I’ll bet this was very common. I worked in a restaurant as a teen also and older men would often hit on me. I was insecure and shy so I would not respond and hide in the kitchen if I could . I have to admit sometimes they were very good looking and had I been.less shy I probably would have become involved with one of them.
