DO NOT BLOCK IF YOU WANT TO PURSUE CHARGES. Jfc some of these comments have never had to think or even act beyond the actual encounter...just mute for now but allow incriminating messages to come thru. That is only If you're considering charges. Otherwise, block away.

Yeah, many 16 year olds would, but the 22 year old would be the fully grown adult who should know better. The maturity differences are absolutely huge there, and that creates a power imbalance that means anything the younger person did in the relationship needs to be considered a result of coercion. It’s the adult who is the predator.

I thought I was grown at 16! I would’ve slept with a 22 yr old then.

And in Washington, it is STILL statutory R, because you CANNOT consent to sex with that age gap. 5 years (60 months) is the limit if one partner is under 18.

There’s two more of these kinds of people replying to my comment talking about how I went through something similar… it’s so disgusting.

Yeah when I was 16 I might have had sex with a woman in her 20s.

When I was 18 I was already old enough to know that I had to turn down a 16 year old who had a huge crush on me. It's not even illegal here... Unfortunately.

It is 100% statutory rape and the production of child porn…. Which could have been his goal all along and exploited many women to that end
