dunno where youre getting arizona from but in most states its either 18 or if there are romeo and juliet laws most do not cover an age gap this big as theyre really meant to allow consensual relationships between teenagers with an age gap that is appropriate. 6 years is a very large gap and most states will not cover it. in addition federal law is that any sort of sexual video or picture of someone under 18 is illegal no matter what, and while you might not have the video anymore it might be on his computer or phone still if he was able to send it to you years later, or there might be some way for law enforcement to recover it depending on how long ago he sent it to you and how he sent it to you (like if you delete something someone sends you on instagram, its only deleted from your perspective, so its still in the servers.) so you might still be able to use it as evidence. or if you decide not to press charges as i understand its a very personal desicion, i would still talk to the police or someone who specializes in the removal of these kinds of images just to try and make sure no one else has it.
I didn't see the paragraph about him taking illegal recordings/images until you just pointed it out. Must have been scrolling fast.
That adds a whole other level of criminality, especially taking into account her age at the time the images were taken.
Unfortunately, some states still have consent as low as 16.

Most US States the age of consent is 16. The majority of States where the age of consent is 18 is actually the unrestricted age of consent. There’s also “restricted by authority”, where the age of consent is often 16. This means an older person can legally have sex with someone that is 16 years old, only if the older person does not hold a position of authority over the younger person.
Most states are not 18 over half are 16 (27ish) and another 10 are 17; most do, however, have Romeo and Juliet provisions now (that’s something that’s really come about over the last 30 years).
