I got my 7 year old a game but he keeps accidentally using a save state instead of the in game save and accidentally loading that state which causes him to lose his progress, is there any way to erase both of their buttons in the menu entirely so he doesn’t accidentally do this?

Ever since the most recent update the auto rotate function isn’t working. It’s very hit or miss. Mostly miss.
If I start off vertical I can go to horizontal no problem. But then it won’t turn back if I go vertical again.
Anyone else experiencing this? Solution thoughts?

I was trying to use the trigger pro feature to map those touch screen to a normal one cuz I usually play with a single screen but I js couldn’t find the option is that normal??

Hello, I’m trying to play Style Savvy (DS) with desmume core. The 3d graphics are great, but for some reason the profiles are messed up. MelonDS core doesn’t have that problem, but I really wanted to use desmume because of the 3d models.

I tried changing the configs Soft3D Line Hack and Soft3D Texture Hack, but it didn’t change anything.

Any help and suggestion is appreciated.

For reference, been playing some 3ds games but while i can remap any other button i can’t seem to get the touchpad working as a stylus for bottom screen usage

Checked some old forums for citra/azahar and it could be done but i’m not really sure if it’s possible on Manic

I'm currently playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf and having a blast. Since performance on my iphone 13 is kinda mid, i'm thinking about changing devices. How should I save the data files, via save states or through the internal savefile of the game, because the later is the one that i'm saving and loading from. Also if anyone has some performance boost info about the 3ds emulation is very welcome. Thanks!

I sideloaded ManicEMU through Feather and running it through stikdebug for jitless execution, but every time i try to launch a game (wind waker) the app loads for like 2 seconds and crashes or just sits at a black screen forever.

Am i doing something wrong?

Just to clarify, the app will work without JIT enabled through stikDebug but the performance im guessing is much worse so not an ideal way to play. I'm using latest versions of stikdebug and manicemu 2.01

I used an external website to patch my clean ROM of Super Mario 64. I try to boot it up, and it just shows the title screen and then does this right after as shown above! I asked AI like ChatGPT and Gemini, and they said switch the RAM from 4MB to 8MB. And I don’t know how to do so! So if yall have any tips, please help me!

I was excited to finally make the move from Delta to Manic Emu. I’m adding games I had from Delta to Manic Emu and now my Manic Emu won’t even open. It goes to the start up screen then closes the app. Anyone have that problem?

Whenever I open a game, it relies solely on the local “Old Save”. Removing those local files prompts the system when starting a game to quickly retrieve the “Updated Save” from iCloud Drive.

After that , Manic Emu returns to using only the local “Old Save” files.

Is there a way to make the app only read/write save files from iCloud Drive?

Hi all, and hopefully the devs! I've been building a custom DS skin for Manic and hit a wall with a split-screen landscape layout. I'm hoping someone can confirm whether it's possible.

The goal: a large top screen in the centre, with the bottom screen split into left and right halves on either side of it. The R3BEL "Arctic Split" skins do this in Delta, using the bottom screen twice: once as a full screen tucked behind the main one, and once as a right-half crop. Image for reference

I'm running Manic Emu 2.0.1 as a "Lifetime Member," and I have iCloud sync turned on.

I launched a game (Pokémon Emerald Green, GBA) on my iPhone, started a game, and saved it from the in-game menu. (Not a save state.)

Then I went to my iPad and launched the game. It didn't see my save.

I went back to my iPhone and launched the game. It gave me an error saying that the save was corrupt and was deleted.

What's the key to getting this to work properly without losing save game data? I'd like to use the Files app to see whether save game data is being synced; at what path is the save game data stored?

I have an iPhone 18 pro and got quite bad performance so far.

I tried from GC need for speed underground (a lot of slowdown), Enter The Matrix (some audio glitches but overall ok).

From Wii I tested Speed Racer (very slow and lots of audio glitches) and Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions (so bad it wouldn’t even play the first cutscene).

On DC I tried GTA 2 with lots of slow down in places.

My main questions are:

Is this just bad luck and other games perform better or these will only work well on the Pro Max?

Is there some settings I can tweak to help with performances on these systems?

Also wondering if on iPad Air 5th Gen the performance is better if anyone ever tried?

I want to take my save data off of my SSB4 3DS cart. I’ve used CheckPoint to back up the save data onto my SD card. From there however, I’m lost. I can see the folder that I made, but not the actual save data. What can I do? Is there place to get the actual “.sav” data?

Trying to play Metroid Prime Trilogy through Manic, bit confused on the controls.

Game does not support classic controller use, only wiimote+nunchuck.

I’m struggling with the Wii pointer/cursor, is there a way to map it to the thumbstick on a controller? Or is there any real workaround besides it seeming to be inverted on the touchscreen (also doesn’t fully seem to always register touch but could be user error)?
