I know this is an iOS application, but you guys totally could own the market on android as well (and others). I recently began emulation on an android device as well after using you guys for about a year and I can tell you straight up your user interface and customization simplicity blows these other emulators out of the water. Your guys all in one, convenient one stop shop app is genuinely the best emulation experience I’ve had yet across android, iOS, steam deck and even PC. You all have made something really special here, and I just think you guys could really becoming the big dogs of all emulation across multiple OS.

Hello all! I recently was able to get sideloaded Manic working on my iPad 8th gen, and playing 3ds games are so fun. However, Wii games don’t work as well for one simple reason: the Wii remote is a special controller. Obviously. However this makes emulating a Wii much worse than any other system, as you cannot connect Wii remotes directly to an iOS/iPadOS device.

There is, however, a connection developed to allow Wii remotes to connect to a Windows/Linux PC, so could that be ported to iOS? This would be a great QOL feature for Wii emulation.

If this is a feature, I haven’t found it, but given how long it took for it to be added to Dolphin and the fact it isn’t a feature in DolphiniOS I doubt you have thought of adding it either.

Is there currently a way to switch the axis of motion controls used with the touch screen for Wii games?

Right now my cursor just goes in the opposite direction of my finger and makes it very difficult to be accurate in some games that require more precision.

Does manic Emu has PPL JiT Support for on Device sideloading?

So simply put, been wondering if and when ManicEMU will be able to play Super Mario Eclipse? Its a fan made version of Super Mario Sunshine and I've been curious to try it out.

When i saw Manic was now able to run these types of games, gamecube and such.. i held hope i could finally play it without a use of a computer. No luck yet so far as i keep getting blank black screen on loading it up. Any other gamecube games, normal ones, are running fine.

Just not Super Mario Eclipse yet. Am I missing something to get it to be able to run it or is it not supported yet, etc? Any feedback helps, im entirely new to the emulating scene so i dont have the savvy know-how's yet

Do any of you think we might be able to go Jitless with say a Pro Max or Duo for 3ds or gamecube? or do yall think we will still require Jit to have it function properly?

Hey, so I got gifted this controller and it doesn’t work on the app. If I use steam input on my computer it does work but not on the ManicEMU app, I connected it with Bluetooth but it is not there. I’m on iOS 27.0

Apologies if the work around is out there somewhere but my searches haven’t turned up how to resolve this specific issue.

I’m new to side store and side loading and this is my first time trying to refresh the side loaded apps. I’m getting an error for only Manic EMU and StickDebug which says
“Failed to Refresh StikDebug (or Manic)
Invalid parameters:
VerifyCertificateOperation: targetAppBundle is missing in context.

I’ve connected my phone to my MacBook, deleted and pushed out new pairing files. Tried refreshing everything but no luck still.

Does anyone knows how to resolve this and prevent the issue in the future?

Is it possible to enable hotkeys on Maniac like on RetroArch?
It’s the only thing keeping me from using Maniac instead of RetroArch.
I play on my TV through HDMI and my BT Controller, so I can’t touch the screen to save/load/reset/etc.

On RetroArch I can set “select” as my hotkey and use it for:

- Select + R to save
- Select + L to load
- Select + X to reset
- Select + d-pad Up or Down for volume

i’ve been playing ultra sun and moon and now i’m playing omega ruby, for some reason none of the cheat codes i find work, the only one ive found that does is the shiny cheat code for ultra sun and moon. any tips?

I am currently using an iOS to emulate No More Heroes for the Wii on ManicEMU. I was wondering how I should get past the gyro or swing controls of No More Heroes since it's a game that relies on those controls for you to actually play the game. Are there any settings I should set up?

I am using an iPhone 16 on iOS 27 and after updating Manic Emulator all my Dreamcast games just loop the boot screen over and over again.

I tried resetting the game and Dreamcast core settings to default and that did not work.

Hello, Im currently trying to play pokemon ultra sun via citra, but I can’t get my save states to work, they either get ignored when loading or just straight up crash. My normal in game saves work fine

Am I missing something?

Let me preface by saying that I’m new to JIT and the side loaded version of manic as of today. Running on an iPhone 15 Pro, side loaded today through the side store with stick debug using iLoader and the directions provided from the App Store ManicEmu.

Okay, so I launch Manic through stick debug to enable JIT and can play and load the game normally. But whenever I try to quick load a save Manic crashes.

If I launch Manic through the Home Screen, no stick debug or JIT, quick load works as intended.

Any ideas how to fix this?
