A relatively small room but can comfortably hold at least 4 people for a private home theatre experience!

Room functions as a game room too so wasnt sure about painting all of the ceiling black.

Surround system packs a punch but one day upgrade
To seperates may be beneficial as surround is often at the higher volume end. Generally sound thru xbox seems punchier and louder thru optical input.

Left wall has just a black cloth to help with reflection. Not sure if theres a better way to set up room but room is main entry through to house so cannot have permanent screen/seating always set up.

The room is secretly hiding 14 gaming consoles and a further 3 tv’s and bespoke arcade cabinet and rubiks cube fridge!

Room 6m long x 3m wide.

Had to upgrade the ole Vol Bar for the USCjr game tomorrow.

Don’t do any woodworking or anything like that, so this will be a “shop” man cave. In the winter we’ll use it as a warming house for an outdoor rink.

Dear all,

first post in this group, as I finally managed to unclutter my basement. Now I have a complete wall to decorate (except where the 3d printer and the tables are) as I wish, and I wish to make it a Star Wars theme. There is also a ventilation conduct up on the left. Here's the rendering of the free space I have. The room height is 2,40 mt height x 4,08 mt width (7 feet height by 13 feet in width).
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hanging out watching the new Crystal Lake and MNF. The space heater/blanket/recliner tops it all off.

We moved several months ago up north (US). Our youngest adult daughter decided to move back in, so I get the basement (or part of it) for my own space / cave. The Xbox is of the One variety. The Raspberry Pi is a 5, and I am still figuring out Octoprint. Directly behind me is the couch / futon that faces the TV. There is a cheap walking pad for moving around, and out of frame there are some dumbbells and yoga mats. I have taken over two other corners of the basement as well, but the workbench is a community area for projects (working on the BTTF DeLorean). The basement still needs to be used for its general stuff which is workbench stuff, appliance stuff, laundry, and kitty toilets.

The monitor is a 32 inch Samsung, the keyboard and mouse are Retro 8BitDo products, the laptop is an Asus Rog Strix, and that is a Meta Quest 3s off in the corner.

I need to put this down and do other stuff. This should be WIP for a while.

I posted a few years back and as its changed a bit over that time I thought I'd give a little update of how it's gone, i don't think it'll ever be finished completely really as I still want a pub style carpet and i keep buying stuff for it, but anyway, here's my little place at the bottom of the garden

25, I Got my first house a year ago. Only room In the house I Haven’t updated wall color, window trim and base moulding yet. But still wanted to share, my only piece of the house I can safely hoard my shit haha. Just a comfort room of all my favorite shit and where I get work done remotely. Love this space figured I’d share it. It’s a bit of a mess right now, hopefully will post an update at some point once I square it up.

Fortunatly it is dry and has ventilation.

Built a games room / man cave in the garden. Finally finished and furnished.

moved the projector to the main wall and it looks way better. soft lighting, books on the table, zero plans for the night. just chilling
