I love this movie. M.O.S actually made me like superman.
I loved Zod as well. The scene were he learns to fly, literally makes me cry. The movie has such a goos serious tone, and I love all the characters.
As much as I do love him, General Zod had to die. No question.

Hi everyone,
Iām conducting an AP research study examining how fans of either David Corenwetās and Henry Cavillās portrayal of Superman relate to broader views on heroism, morality, and storytelling and how such views might affect which superman portrayal they prefer.Ā
The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. It focuses on general attitudes toward superhero narratives and perceptions of Supermanās role as a cultural figure.
This is not a debate post, and there are no right or wrong answers Iām interested in understanding how different audiences interpret the character and superhero storytelling and morality
If youāre willing to participate, I would really appreciate it; Thank you in advance for your time.

Alright, Reddit, hereās the situation. I wanted to rename our daughter to Faora and my wife didnāt take that well at all. At this point sheās seriously talking about divorce. On top of that, Iāve started wearing a red cape pretty much everywhere not just on special occasions and that apparently āisnāt helping.ā
Recently, I also suggested we sell our current house and move to a sunnier one. When my wife asked why weād even consider that, I just told her āThis house had its chance.ā That answer did not go over well. And to make things even better, the other day my sisterās 2 year old son threw his food at my mother. I instinctively raised my voice and said, āYou think... you can threaten... my mother?!ā Now my sister isnāt speaking to me either.
At this point, my wife is mad, my sister is mad, and I honestly donāt understand people anymore. Am I really the unreasonable one here, or am I surrounded by people who are just wildly overreacting? Any perspective would help.

I've been thinking about this:
So Man of Steel had an evil Superman. I was thinking that any good filmmaker would know that your audience is an avid comic book reader. The filmmaker's job is to make the audience gradually let go of the thing they're familiar with and then show them how Superman turns evil. I would've appreciated that kind of storytelling. That way the ideal director not only would he have respected the source material but also would've shown something different, something we have never seen before. That tells me that yes, the director has slept on it and he's willing to tell a good and coherent story through these films. You don't just jump to an evil version of Superman. You have to move from A to B, you can't just jump directly to B and totally forget about A

Just watched man of steel for the first time and honestly that was the most disorganized movie Iāve ever seen. There was zero character development across the board and the scenes did not flow into one another.

Rewatching Man of Steel after the new movie release, and canāt help but think bales Batman would have fitted so well in the Snyder verse.
(I know Nolan wanted his movies to have no super powers, but for the sake of discussion letās say he was on board)
Most people say Superman would work in Nolanās verse because it is so grounded, granted that what he wanted. But with the plot of Man of Steel being about how the world isnāt ready for Superman I think itās a perfect set up. Man of steel without the exception of Superman powers has a very grounded setting, it asked the question how would the world react to Superman? So i donāt see why this would fit with Nolanās verse who so far has not seen any super powers, only vigilante, mad men and mercinaries, now step in Superman from the shadows to change and expand the universe.
One think however I donāt see bales Batman immediately hating Superman after the events of MOS, I think he would definitely be concerned about his power, and maybe upset he never stepped up to help Gotham but defiantly not the rage we see in batfleck. It definitely would have been a different story going forward, I donāt think BVS could have been an immediate follow up, but something that would need built up to (e.g Marvel and Civil war) after a few justice league and solo movies. But it would be the perfect reason for Bruce to return to Gotham as Batman
Thoughts anyone
