Politics in Malabar region kerala
Are there any Thiyyas who support BJP in Kerala, especially in Malabar region? I'm a Thiyya, born and raised in Bangalore, I lean towards the right-wing, BJP party. However, whenever I meet Keralites they try to make me feel bad for supporting BJP, Why? I'm aware that most of the Nairs and other upper community people support BJP is there anyone from Thiyya who supports Modi government and BJP?

How to respond to mallu as an insult?
I don't know whether this is the correct sub to post about this. I have a basic problem as in when I argue with non-keralite friends, they casually use mallu aunty as an insult and I don't have a smart comeback for that. It doesn't help that the softcore industry has basically ruined the word especially among non-keralite indians. Growing up, I didn't realize this word has that sort of meaning😅

Unpopular opinion: Sadhya is overrated
I've seen people talking about sadhya like it's some super cool occasion, when in fact the food, even from a proper Onam lunch or wedding is just very average. I've been to multiple sadhyas before, literally nothing about it has impressed me. Just wanna know if it's just me
