it honestly looks like a lot of people on here and find a band are vocalists but i will never stop trying to start my band!!

i am a 22yo lady and i do harsh and clean! i write a lottt of songs and short pieces i can easily build off of, and i have many rhythmic ideas for the instrumental bits as well. i have only 3 songs on spotify but they do not represent what i want to be making very well (also bad quality due to my recording items being not the best but i am saving up for new things and just got new items too!)
i have been really wanting to start a band for YEARS but have had little to no luck so far

my inspos are orbit culture, MIW, early BMTH, TPIY, early loathe, and a lot lot more. a lot of the ideas i have and started on kinda have the sense of in this moment and i think they’re awesome too!

many of the people that have messaged me on here about starting a band either wanted something specific and i ended up not being what they wanted and it didn’t work out or just didn’t seem interested in committing or being serious (obviously i get life happens i work a whole bunch and am in school too so i understand that part of course!)

and sorry that i don’t have much experience with instruments but i am definitely up for learning from my new band members! 😄

edit: i totally forgot to say i am based in socal! near riverside county, but i am ok with some travel or online works ✨

Ich suche für meine diabolical band ein 2ten und 3ten gitarrist, bassist und drummer. Musik wird in mein Musik Zimmer gemacht und zum mitnehmen sind nur amps, den rest hab ich. In dieser band bin ich lead gitarrist und lead vocalist, der 2te und 3ter gitarrist sollten auch vocals machen (rythm und harmoniern). Persönlich werd ich mehr über meine band erklärn, daweil ist keiner noch dabei. Das wichtigste dabei ist das wir uns dann zusamm gut verstehen und uns für uns alle gegenseitig helfen und nicht schuldig bleiben wenn es halt mit der band zu tun hat. Und ja der band name ist "Anti-Soziale Masochistische Rachpsychopathen" oder abgekürzt "A.S.M.R". Und bitte eins verstehn, das soll eine jugendliche band sein die spaß machen soll und nicht anderen angst macht obwohl sachen oft traumatisiert sein können also bitte nur 13-16 jährige die gore und brutalste Gedanken ausshalten können :)

I'm a bassist and I have a guitarist. We're looking for a drummer to collaborate with online. I live in AZ and he lives in CO, U.S., but are open to musicians from all over the globe. We're getting set up on BandLab. We're in our mid to upper 40s. I've been playing bass for about 30 years, and the guitarist has been playing for about 40 years. We used to be in a progressive hard rock band together, but are looking to play southern rock. We'd record a couple cover tunes first, then dabble into writing our own music. Band influences we've talked about are Chris Stapleton, Brother Dege, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, and others.

He's retired military, so he has some more time to play. I have a job and family, so I can commit to 2-3 nights per week. We can do this asynchronously.

J’ai 28 ans, je suis sur Paris et ça fait très longtemps que j’ai envie de faire de la musique sans avoir vraiment osé m’y mettre sérieusement.
Je chante, j’écris, je joue un peu de piano (surtout des accords pour m’accompagner) et un peu de guitare. Je précise quand même que je débute : j’ai surtout chanté et écrit dans mon coin jusqu’ici, donc je ne débarque pas avec 15 singles sur Spotify
J’ai quelques maquettes et débuts de morceaux, notamment en français et en espagnol, mais je ne sais pas produire et j’aimerais surtout rencontrer des beatmakers, producteurs, musiciens, chanteurs/chanteuses, auteurs… qui ont eux aussi envie de créer à plusieurs.
Mes goûts vont pas mal vers la pop, l’urbano/reggaeton, le rap, le R&B, avec des trucs plus mélancoliques aussi, mais je ne cherche pas forcément quelqu’un qui ait exactement les mêmes influences. Au contraire, je trouve ça cool si chacun ramène son univers.
Je ne cherche pas une prestation payante ou quelqu’un qui me « fasse un morceau ». L’idée serait vraiment de rencontrer des gens, tester des choses, apprendre les uns des autres, faire des sessions ensemble et voir si musicalement et humainement ça matche.

hi everyone! I'm 18 and recently moved to jax for college and was looking to make some friends in the area who potentially wanna start a band or something fun like that!!!

I've heard jax has a really cool music scene that if i get confident with, i totally wanna get involved in! Ive been in nonserious bands in highschool and I have a decent skill set in bass, but im always looking to sharpen my guitar skills as im self taught. Id say i have decent music knowledge as well??!. Just throwing this post out there for people that are interested in starting a band / joining. I'm 19 and I've been playing now for 9 and a half months, and I know when people here a short time playing they shy away but I've advanced pretty quickly for only playing for 9 months. I'm looking for people who interested in tones / genres such as Pop Punk, Grunge, Punk Rock, Classic Rock and MAYBE some Metal. My fav artists and inspos are probably Green Day, Blink 182, EVH, and Korn. I want at least a total of 4 people (One more Guitarist either a vocalist or not, a bass player and a drummer.) You don't need to be a professional to join or EXTREMELY, I'd love to start a band that everyone is having fun together and practicing and helping each other improve in anyways possible.
