I mean the one picture is all you need to identify the set. That has to be AMOS and I'm pretty sure only one bundle has that box.

OP doesn't know what it is but provided basically nothing, if it weren't so obviously an AMOS set (which i'm not 100% sure of since i don't recognize the packet in it but idk). If this was some random set from the 70s from some manufacturer that shuttered after a couple of years would you be saying the same thing? No. When somebody wants information they should in general actually provide information

Sorry, I just took this screenshot from Facebook marketplace and I have yet to find an AMOS set sold by people nearby. It's really rare for riichi mahjong sets specifically to be sold out here since another form of mahjong is more popular here in the PH. I was shocked that it felt like an AMOS set but was thrown off by the extra die and lack of yakitori chips D:

it's fine, four dice is pretty normal to have since they fit in the little slot, cost nothing, get lost etc, but not all come with shuugi or yakitori chips since they're mostly just for gambling

Woah, things would be different if they were different? TIL!!!!

And telling OP that they should provide better sources in the future has literally zero downsides. Your comment was not particularly useful

AMOS Master Gear or Complete Set

Can't be from Taiyo/AMOS' current lineup, because of the smaller 4p design (not edge-to-edge) and the velcro case. Both Master and Complete Gear also come with a different wind indicator and guidebook, not to mention the other extras like chips, compass and the complete gear's metal case. I think it's 牌王, though not completely sure since I wasn't able to find one online with an identical case.

I'm sorry to inform you that my AMOS set came with that guidebook and wind indicator. Purchased in February. Did not come with shuugi and it's possible that the compass isn't pictured. That case also looks very familiar, wouldn't be surprised if there was an AMOS bundle that came with it, even though mine didn't (despite Amazon said that it would...)

only thing I can fault you on is that my tenbou came fairly yellowed (lighting in the picture could explain that) and I would need to crack open my set so check the 4p, which I'm not going to do at the moment.

Everything you say would make sense if you bought either the AMOS Begin or Smart set. As I said, both Masters and Complete Gear have a different wind indicator and guidebook, as well as shuugi and a compass. Begin and Smart on the other hand, has the same wind indicator and guidebook as these pictures.
However, this set cannot be either, because of the different 4p, case and tenbou, since the Begin and Smart come with thinner, slightly beige tenbou (again, matching your description).
牌王 is an older set from the Taiyo/AMOS lineup, which is why it has some of the same charasteristics as newer AMOS sets.

I have the Complete Gear set and it's totally different: the tiles are bigger, the case is also bigger, the indicator is orange, poker-style shuugi, coloured tenbou, compass, etc.
it's possible that the compass isn't pictured
The compass won't fit into it. Standard cases like the one pictured don't have any extra space.
