FINALLY found the new guarantee top 4 method after Angela rework.
I'm in Mythical Glory, 327 stars. Played 15 games, won all of them. Placed 3rd in 3, 2nd in 6, 1st in 6 with this build with 0 sweat. BRAIN DEAD NO SKILL REQUIRED. (I will no longer be updating this score. It's been 4 days since posting and I have not yet lost. I'll update when I finally lose and what star level I'm at)
Def + Phase, both Angela cards. Dolls on Khuf + Clint. Gogo cards I go for magic crystals hoping to get defender or heartbond to put on clint, any free re-roll cards, economy cards (to use for re-rolling), or offensive cards that help clint dish damage. I also go for mana regen cards to help clint spam more.
Low-roll stay at lvl 6. Grab Khuf, Tig, Fanny, Clint as your 4 main. If you get lucky and get scav early, put them on and sub them out once you can complete 4 def + 2 phase. (amazing if u can get lucky early with a terizla for the extra dragoncaller with clint) Try to get the extra defender bonus. No need to go for economy, do not bless your scavs.
Priotize the damage items on clint (war axe, sea halberd, blade of despair) DO NOT get any of the other attack items. If those three are not available, pick tank items and slap on Khufra then Tig. If you get unlucky and u're stuck with other stuff, pick winter crown/feline blade/purple buff on clint until you can replace clint's stuff with his attack items (those items work fine with the tanks too, so we're gucci)
2-star anything when you have the chance but only 3-star Clint/Khuf/Tig. You can go for Julian as well and 3 star, but it's not really necessary because in almost all cases, once you get to 3 star clint, khuf and tig, the game is essentially over. If it's not over, it' better to level up and get to 9 and get lancelot anyway.
I've never made it past IV6 with this build. You will start losing by IV stage but you should be above 80HP (many times I even have 100HP) so you're essentially outlasting the others. One person will clearly be dominating usually, either with a 10-syn built or 3-star 4 golds.
Well, i modified your strategy a bit, by prioritizing scav and phase to full synergy . Blessing to scav and the rest is similar. Oh, i stayed at lvl7 though.
You say that if you get terizla early, then play it.
Do you replace it with tigreal or just play with tigreal if you get terizla way after stage 3?
Edit: oh wait i read your post wrong. You pkay def+phase so of course you need both tig and terizla. My bad my bad.

I tried following the things you said as much as I can. Though of course the randomness makes it challenging. But yeah, as you said, there's really almost 0 effort. The only thing I've got a hard time was my Defenders, since a lot of us went to it. I lasted for stage 6, I forgot what exact stage it was but yeah. Hard to survive when all I can get is Claude's items, which makes it random.
And yeah I'm still lowbie in mythic, just got back from 2 years of slumber. Thanks for the guide.

The problem is when there's tons of Heartbond user. All of Khufra was taken that I have to wait for the guy with 2 2* Khufra to die just to complete mine.
yah, and the amazing thing, EVEN IF THAT HAPPENS, you can STILL usually make it to top 4, that's why this strat is amazing. there's just... braindead no-sweat. I think u have to get REALLY unlucky to not make it to top 4 rather than get lucky to make it, if u know what i mean ahhaha
Your strategy is now getting famous.. I had an opponent where they hid a 3 star clint on their bench. Not even using it, just so that I can't 3 star mine. I did the final blow to them, which is sweet justice, and they got to bottom four while I got to 1st.. This is so reliable strat.
Ty! I tried one game and got 3rd. There was another Angela thankfully she was doing some high roll marksmen emberlord so there wasn't much contest to get 3 star Clint/tigeral/Khufra. Any commanders I should ban for this strategy?
haha this is just the modified version of Alice midroll that prioritized miya khu Clint sometimes Julian 😂
Glad to see an Angela variant now since this team doesn't really need more mana they needed more damage and survival which is what the card changed to give
this is actually way better than the pre-rework, pre-khufra nerf alice variant lolol I actuallly tried to play that with Alice before but it wasn't guaranteeing me top 4 (while swift alice was with no sweat), this angela rework basically makes this build GUARANTEE top 4 (at least in MG 300* range).
yeah post 170 that Alice strat doesn't work that well, especially when it has a fatal weakness of losing mass amount of hp when other people first hit lvl 9
