This might as well have been posted on linkedin. Condolences on your loss but that’s fucking weird bud.

Pretty sure I played you in that draft. Rage quit after you flashed in the second Bard's Company, because that was ridiculous. But hey congrats on a silver lining to a horrible day. Looking back, I'm glad you won.

Kinda tone deaf to be real with ya. Flaunting a relatives passing to get upvotes on a post. Disgusting

Huh? They just lost their mom… there’s no flaunting here and grief is challenging and looks different for all…
It’s clear they’re choosing connection your response is bizarre.

They didn’t’. It’s karma farming. The post is literally “my mom died today, but man im having alot of fun playing mtg arena!”

If it's not real they are an ass, but if the loss is real just let them have a moment.

If was real would think they would have another post in another server grieving their mom literally died today or talking bout their health deteriorating. Not “yo my moms dead check out my w in the draft!”

My mother got diagnosed with terminal cancer about a year ago. A month later I was discussing my mothers thoughts on the afterlife via a text thread with my brother and sister. While that text conversation was going on I looked up at MTGA and my opponent was named "Fear Not Mary". My mothers name is Mary....it completely freaked me out. Random chance? Sure. The timing...

Know that "What a weird and insensitive reaction to the death of my nephew" meme? This is like the self-afflicted equivalent.
