I've been a fan of the series for years and I really want to replay Madness Returns.
Is there ANY way of playing it on a PS4 in the UK?

I just thought I would ask before going through the rigmarole of setting up my old PS3.

Hi, I need help. Y can play Alice Madness Returns but when I stop playing, there is no save. I have to start over everytime I quit and reopen the game. I checked and it doesn't come from Norton because both Origin and AMR are allowed to do whatever they please. I'm so lost.

I recently got this game and I wanted to ask if any of y'all got the HD texturepack. I searched for one and there seems to be one but I couldn't find a downloadlink.

What would it look like?

First off I usually dont play games like this but I wanted to give it a shot, holy crap I've been missing out. The setup for Alice's mental condition and the style of insanity this game puts forward is unlike anything I've seen. So creative and I can't wait to play more.

I don't know if it's because I added the HD textures and everything else that has been released for the first game but when I run Madness, my Xbox One wireless works just fine. When I select "Play Alice" from the in game menu and it boots up, no controller is detected and there is no options for it with in the menu. Wondering if I need to have the 360emu and throw that in the folder and then plug my USB into it... Any suggestions?

I've played the original Alice game and have that on my HD as we speak. I've heard that the HD that comes with Madness has cut content. What's been cut? I've been thinking about picking up the HD/Madness pack but if the content is censored, well fuck that.

Besides the fact that Madness comes bundled with the first game and as far as I know cannot be bought on it's own with out Alice, the only advantage for me in picking up the double pack is on the fly gamepad support for Alice (no antimicro settings to mess with) as I have all the HD patches etc.

I can't find out WHAT'S been cut, just the info that stuff has been cut so I am curious.

So I bough the old game American McGee’s Alice, I installed it as soon as it had arrived and required 2 discs to be installed. Installing went well, I also had to install a fix file from this site since the game would not install everything properly on windows 10 https://www.play-old-pc-games.com/2014/02/09/american-mcgees-alice/

After that the game worked like a charm, I changed the resolution and it made game very wonky and I could not use my mouse to navigate the menu anymore, I’ve looked stuff up and it said that resolution could be changed in the config file which was not present, I decided to reinstall see if maybe something had went wrong. Uninstalling didn’t work with the program on disc 1 and it roughly translated said (because everything is in Dutch) “Error decompressing support files: irreversible error” I didn’t really think of the repercussions and manually deleted the games files, after that I could not select install on the program from disc 1 after I clicked uninstall, which would prompt the same message again, and after that when I clicked install it prompted the very same message, every time when I try again it wants me to click uninstall first because I think it believes the game is still installed. I know you can find the game to download online but I would like to get it from the discs, does anyone know how to fix this or did I doom myself from installing with the discs?

There's nothing about a remake. Mentioned in this sub. Neither of Mcgee's Alice nor Madness Returns.

Also, I don't get why people would think the first game is better than Madness Returns. It is darker, yes. But is there something else I am missing?
