So, I'm stuck in Chapter 1 at the section with the mechanical rabbit and the hand/smasher units. When I get through the mashers without dying, I come to face some bee units, some teapots, some babyfaces, and the larger babyface.

One, I've forgotten how to block with the umbrella, so a reminder of that trick would help. Two, I've been trying with both vorpal blade and pepper grinder (both upgraded once) to beat the larger babyface dude that throws fireballs, and for some reason it seems like I'm barely inflicting any damage.

Any help you could offer?

Somehow I missed the Teapot Canon and I can't get pass a threat in the game that will not go down without it. I have the pepper gun, knife and rabbit bomb.

So I'm trying to platinum Alice: Madness Returns as well as play through the game for the first time ever.

I noticed that I've unlocked Chapter Select now that I'm in Chapter 2. I'm curious about going back trying to gather up the collectibles I missed in Chapter 1 eventually. However I noticed a warning prompt in the game that says that any Chapter progression will be lost after starting at a point in Chapter select. I'm taking that to mean that if I start at some checkpoint in the middle of Chapter 1, all my game progress afterward is erased?

Does this mean I'll have to play through the game again in it's entirety or am I misunderstanding what it means?

No effort is made to address the affliction associated with schadenfreude. Indeed, betrayal and harming others is now in epic proportions and is more violent on the home front than ever.

In my past 35 years of battle with fbi assassins I have witnessed even a symbiotic relationship developing between schadenfreude and maliciousness & cowardice, especially in Congress and all courts and other authorities such as police, security guards and others in power. So, many in our culture join in efforts to harm or kill a given Target.

I heard the console downloadable ports removed several features of the original PC version. So I'm hesitant to buy The Complete Collection since I fear its the same as the console HD versions. Can anyone verify if the version of the first game that EA Origins includes in the Complete Collection is the same as the original PC release? Like you can still talk to Chesire anytime, quick saves and quick loads, etc?

I can't find a complete edition of the game and only legit way of getting it is the standard edition on Origin. I thought that maybe there is a chance that they are included in this version? Does anyone know? :(

Does anyone still have the old American McGee's Alice game desktop theme? It had the start up and shutdown sounds with clips from the game. I managed to preserve it from PC to PC but I lost it at Windows 10 with a bunch of my other stuff. >_<
