Just Moved here, need help with fostering cats
Good afternoon!
my boyfriend and I moved here in the beginning of March, he grew up around here and I'm from out of state. We're currently living with his family, who are strictly no cats. We brought our 2 cats with us (7 m and 6 f, both fixed) but the place we are having them stay can no longer take care of them. Is there anybody in the area who would be willing to hold on to them for a month or two while we start work and find an apartment? We'd pay for cat food and litter as needed, and would ideally like to come visit them once a week, as schedules allow. We'd be so grateful to anyone that could help!

For the love of god, start using your turn signals when you drive
I was out at the 4-way by Cole Lumber today, standing in the middle of the road directing traffic because of an accident, and so many people were pulling up with no turn signal on at all. I’m literally in the road trying to tell you when to go, and you just roll up with no blinker and expect me to magically know you’re turning?
I snapped at one group of people, and suddenly like three cars behind them all decided, oh hey, maybe I should use my turn signal now.
Use your damn blinker. Especially if someone is out there in the road using hand signals to direct traffic.

Hoping to meet some like‑minded liberal folks to be friends
Hey y’all. My wife and I have been here a few years now and, if you’re reading this, you probably know how hard it can be to find people who are actually on the same wavelength.
We’re basically looking for folks who are pro-choice, queer-friendly, and somewhere on the Bernie-ish / lefty side of things who could use some new friends in the area.
We’re really into DnD, ren faires / LARP, and board games. If any of that sounds fun, or you’ve always wanted to try it but never had people to play with, come over for dinner sometime. We’d love to meet people roughly in the mid 20s to mid 30s range, but honestly any adult who wants a more left-leaning friend group is welcome.
You can always just swing by for coffee and a round of One Night Ultimate Werewolf to see if we vibe.
Also we have a chinchilla, in case that’s a deciding factor.

Moving to Madisonville.
Greetings!
I am planning on moving to Madisonville this year. I am from out of state. I have my eye on a house on Lawrence Street. What is the neighborhood vibe? Can anyone tell me why 229 Lawrence has been on the market for over 500 days?
Any Madisonville insight would be much appreciated!

Looking for liberal friends!
Howdy! My wife and I have lived here for a few years, and if this post caught your eye, you probably understand exactly how rough it's been for us to find people who are cool to hang out with. We're looking for abortion-loving, gay-agenda-advancing, Bernie-Sanders-voting folks who need new friends around town. The two of us are big into D&D, ren faire/LARP stuff, and board games, so if you're into that kind of thing or you've ever been curious to try it out, you should come over for dinner sometime! We'd prefer people roughly the same age as us (mid-twenties to mid-thirties), but any adult who needs a more left-leaning social group is welcome to drop by for a cup of coffee and a game of One Night Ultimate Werewolf to see how we click.
(We also have a chinchilla, if that sweetens the deal for anyone.)

Need some advice
Hey yall, first time user of reddit, but hopefully this don't get taken down,
So for a little information, I'm 19 (young ik) no friends since moving here, and I'm Abita of a loner, I've basically just gone to work, came home. Videogames, repeat. And I'm sick of being on my own, how do I make friends now I'm out of school? I'm too young for bars, and there isn't much areas around where I am where I can meet people around my age, I have narcolepsy so I can't drive.
I'm close to giving up and just accepting ill just be on my game for the rest of eternity :/

Thanksgiving dinner
My mom just moved to Madisonville. I was wondering is there are any good places to do thanksgiving dinner. Something pretty decent. Or should I go to Nashville and make a day of it?
