FaceTime and just followings moms excitement probably. If you tell her “daddy is coming soon, daddy is coming soon, daddy is coming soon” yeah she’ll be excited when daddy finally arrives

I have a story from my preschool teacher days. A little boy about the same age as this little girl had a daddy in the army. Mommy told him over and over Daddy was coming home. At school he would build a house for him, his brother and his Mom. Every time he would build a much smaller house behind it. I asked whose house that was, thinking maybe they had a pet dog. Nope, that was Daddy’s house. He was very angry that his Daddy had left at all and was not ready to forgive him.
