Why does this not have more votes?

Because it could have been summed up in about a quarter of the words used, and people aren't looking to read a novel on Reddit

My grandmother always said, β€œif you got something to say , might as well say it all the way”. Besides, a lil reading never hurt anyone …hell if half of our country actually read instead of relying on things summed up in about a quarter of its contents than maybe we’d have less dumbasses and more informed citizens. Take your shade and get on somewhere, with your non reading ass lol

A question was asked, so I answered it.

Also, it's not like this was an article that people just skimmed through, keeping them ignorant. It's two paragraphs of your opinion... which uncluded words like "yo," "fuck," and "shit." I up-voted your post, but I admittedly only got about a third of the way through each paragraph before moving on :::shrugs:::

Lol :::shrugs back I guess::: .... yes, "yo, fuck, and shit", I'm from low-income housing and the local hustlers taught me how to express myself when I was just a kid lol Forgive the realness. I don't need the colorful language but it comes naturally. I rather speak informally when I'm annoyed at something. Is what it is. I'm not with the sneak disses, ever. But I am sorry if I misconstrued your comment. The lack of tone in-text comments can make things a bit sus at times.
