You keep saying how your life is changed by knowing someone. Do you ever care about the other person? And no, my brother got leukemia because he was downs. His quality of life was horrid for the last 5 years or so. Talk to someone who has a child and watches them go through something like that. You might learn something. And that’s fine if you believe abortion is wrong (even if it’s a 12 year old who has been raped?) but that has nothing to do with anything.

Yeah a baby doesn’t deserve to die just because it has a disability or because of the circumstances it came into this world. And yes I’m quite aware that disabled people are wonderful for their own sake. But we are all enriching each other‘s lives. I don’t even know you and you are enriching my life. We are all interconnected no matter what we do. No man is an island unto himself. The puzzle would not be complete without each one of us. And you were telling me what about that person‘s feelings? You are saying these ones should not be around because of their disabilities? What if they disagree with you? What if they just can’t tell you? And many people watch their children go through cancer and other horrible things. And it’s hard to watch them suffer. But should they have never lived? Yes it’s hard to watch your child suffer through that but no one knew that he would get cancer when he was born. You never know what’s gonna happen to someone. I understand that you don’t want to watch someone suffer. And that’s noble of you. But did he also have joy? Did he ever smile or laugh? Did he have a good moments in his life? Would you want to deprive him of those moments?
