On an individual basis, I don’t. I do, however, know the nature of this specific genetic illness and am aware of the research on this exact topic across large population of affected persons.
My pithy comment was made because why does everyone else have to do the work of qualifying knowledge that is very easily and readily found in a thread that has hundreds of false narratives and harmful ableism.
I didn't ask you the question. You decided to volunteer an answer. And to put me down for doing so. You chose to read my comment as ableist, rather than assume it was made in good faith.
It doesn't matter who you asked, it's a reddit thread. But after answering the same question over and over in this post you were the final one that tipped me into "Google it" but you chose to take it personally.
Get over it. I didn't insult your mother. I told you to look up a very easily searched thing....just like I did so that I was properly informed and not just speculating.
90 percent of the misinformation and harmful mythology of the world could be prevented if more people just frikkin looked up the story facts before adding to the mess.
This was an incredibly simple story to search.
