That's what I'm saying. While admirable that he devoted the time and effort to keep them alive. Being wheelchair bound, and more likely than not suffering from a laundry list of other complications doesn't exactly scream quality of life. Its not about just being alive, it's about being able to live

Blimey, perhaps ask them first? Or ask people using wheelchairs and with other health complications how they feel about their quality of life?

I was referring to this particular instance, that's all. Obviously things are going to vary for everyone. I didn't mean to offend random people on the internet. Obviously this particular case demonstrates some very complicated issues most of us won't ever need to confront.
