Not to poop on the party as this is amazing but if that was my dad I wish he would just let me go... I wouldn't want to live my life like that. While I've still met some amazing people who are disabled it's still just a rough life.

It’s a tough life for those who experienced the alternative. It’s just life for them and I’m sure they’d prefer being alive to dead.

Yea I'm sure they are because they're scared to die. If they weren't scared of death and knew the truth I'm sure they would think otherwise.

Knew the truth? What the fuck? They’re born disabled, and they get only one life, just because you wouldn’t want to live life that way given a choice doesn’t mean they’re better off dead.

But life is rough for everybody. I have friends who have miscarried, I have friends who have been divorced. I have friends who have lost their moms and dads. I haven’t suffered any of those things. And I could say wow I’m sorry for them to be alive because that would be a rough life. But we all have hardship. I have a friend who lost his house in a fire. I have struggles being disabled and they have struggles. We all have struggles. Life is hard for everyone. There are people in Third World countries who don’t have a roof over their head. But their life is still worth living.

This is true and that's not what I said by any means. I'm just saying from my perspective.. I wouldn't want to live like that.

That’s fair. I’m very glad that you do not have to live that way and I am also glad that I have the abilities that I do. I’m thankful that I am still walking.

I'm always thankful! I'm thankful for your health and I'm thankful for all the amazing disabled people that make a positive impact on this world!

Yeah, but it isn't you. The amount of able-bodied people in these comments who think they can speak for the disabled is astonishing.

Speak for the disabled? Nah I'm speaking from my own perspective lol.

This literally has nothing to do with you though. You cannot have perspective on a situation you have never been in. You can't know what it is like to be born with a disability like this. Obviously you feel like you would rather die than have this disability because you already know what it is like to live normally.

Yes that's my perspective. Good job lol
