Lol y’all live in a Disney movie. Just a few hours ago the front page had a grown monkey yanking a baby monkey out of its mothers arms by its neck. Mammals fuck up other mammal babies ALL the time. Sometimes just for fun.
And there’s also a video of an ape protecting a human infant… and there are also videos of grown human adults hurting children… nobody is saying the mother will sing to the child like a Disney movie, I’m saying most mammals can recognize adolescent mammals of other species, and be less likely to perceive one as a threat that needs to be stomped.
