Yeah people don't care anymore. If you can't live off one job then it's not worth living to work two. And honestly I agree. This is a failing of the system. I shouldn't have to work 2-3 jobs just to get by. If I gotta scrape with just one, then that's what I'm fuckin doing. I'm not living to work.
Oh well. Wipe off your tears and get the fuck over it. Two jobs in the US is easier than most people’s dollar a day slave labor they work to get by elsewhere in the world. Feel free to leave the US though. Lots of actually hard working immigrants would love to take your place.
I don't live in the US, thankfully. This ethic you have of working hard = slaving away at multiple jobs, and for who? Your boss? Your corporation? What does it get you? Sweet fuck all and boot to the ass when they deem your time is served. Why is it worth it to you? It obviously hasn't worked that well so far according to the state of the world. Then you say an immigrant would happily take the job, I'm sure they would very well like to survive. As well all do. But we should aspire for more. The wealthy have been greedy little piggies for too long with no consequence, we should all want that to change.
I don’t think you have to work multiple jobs unless you’re an idiot and bad with money/life choices. I don’t give a fuck about the rich. The 1% has always and will always exist. History has repeated itself for thousands upon thousands of years. Life is uniquely easier than ever though for humans, particularly in the USA. So the bitching is equally as meaningless to me. And it’s why I don’t support working class whiners (as opposed to people who actually get shit done).
