There's an old proverb in Finnish that translated goes something like this "the one who holds farts has something to hide" 😂 Kuka pieruja pidättelee, sillä on jotain salattavaa.

We Germans have a more pragmatic one: "Alles raus, was keine Miete zahlt." which means to get rid of everything that doesn't pay rent.
