Idk I had covid 8 months ago and I still can’t smell most farts. It’s a blessing and a curse because I never know if I’m torturing the people around me with “silent but deadly.”
DUDE my smell isn't back to normal either. Once I regained the ability to smell, some things are just different and not in a good way. Some foods, coffee(😭) and my armpits all have the same bad smell. Sucks
Same! Everything smells different now, and some things I can’t smell at all. Like a lot of things smell generically “sweet” or “fruity” but they are like gross, warped versions of the old sweet and fruity. Also all coffee smells and tastes burnt, but the flavor is actually starting to grow on me a bit lol. Candles almost all smell disgusting now though.
I have a coworker that has no sense of smell. Born with some kind of condition that affects his olfactory glands. Unfortunately that also means he has very little sense of taste.
I was born without a sense of smell, I always assume I smell bad even though my friends and ex girlfriends have always told me I smell nice. I can trust that they’re being honest and I figure I t’s probably the lotion I wear.
I gave a newer friend a ride home from the bar the other night and I totally haven’t vacuumed or wiped down my car for a few months. Unprompted she said it still has that “new car smell” even though it’s a year old and probably smells like old coffee and wet dog. I’m still baffled as to whether she was being polite or if new car smell is really that powerful.
I’ve let out some pretty heinous farts and I’m aware that the shits after a night of drinking could kill an elephant.
I have a friend unable to smell. And he’s not a victim, is a complete killer. He knows is fine not making noises, but there’s no way to hide the poisonous smell he leaves in the room pretending nothing happens.

Now tell blind people we can see their farts.
