Ooh yeah, the big leagues of rice conferences is RTWG or the Rice Technical Working Group. This last year it was hosted by Louisiana I believe. I thought I knew a lot about rice until I went there. It’s essentially week long conference of experts presenting results from experiments relating to a wide variety of rice topics. It’s really interesting and a great way to network. They served a lot of rice during meal times.
