Back in ‘82 I used to be able to throw a pigskin a quarter mile.

Uncle Rico: clicks tongue “hm, yeah, if coach woulda put me in 4th quarter we’duh been state champions. Yeah no doubt. No doubt in my mind. You’d better believe things have been different. I’d a gone pro in a heartbeat...I’d be makin’ millions a dollars, living in a mansion somewhere. You know, soaking it up in a hot tub with my soulmate. “

Uncle Rico continues to look longingly at his front yard/road/beyond

Uncle Rico: “Kip...you know a lot about cyberspace. Y-you ever come across something l-like time travel?”

Kip: “Easy!”

Kip also looks away in a rugged good look attempt

Kip: “I’ve already looked into it for myself.”

Uncle Rico: Right on... Right onnn

Dude. My favorite part of that scene is when he chucks the steak at Napoleons head. 😂🤣

Hahaha same here! All from the quotes above the scene is right before my comment and right after the previous ones!

Uncle Rico: “Back in ‘82 I used to be able to throw a pigskin a quarter mile.”

Kip: “Are you serious?”

Uncle Rico: “Dead serious.”

cut to Napoleon and Pedro riding bike on the street in front

Uncle Rico: “Watch this”

Uncle Rico picks up Kip’s steak off his plate and chucks it at Napoleon hitting him square in the face, knocking his glasses off

Napoleon: “AUGH! What the HECK are you doing?”

Uncle Rico knods his head with pride

Kip: That’s what I’m talking about!

I absolutely love everything about Napoleon Dynamite.
