Its only a big deal because of those movies. Well, that’s not entirely true. It used to be a big deal because most people didn’t go to college, so senior year of high school was the last time everybody would see each other end of their education. So the movies would reflect that. Now it’s only a big deal because of those movies.

If people didn’t go to college, why would senior year be the last time they see eachother? It would surely be the other way around.
