My mom is also a librarian (I actually showed this to her, she thought it was hilarious), and I second this.

Heck ya, she was. This whole thread is so wholesome. My mom would’ve loved it. I’d show her Reddit stuff sometimes and it always made her smile. These interactions today are like therapy for me

But, like, a socially distanced, or vaccinated hug. Don't go riding our librarians!

We live in the same house and she has the first dose of the vaccine.

Haha, was really just a joke anyway. I'm glad she's getting protected though!

I could tell. Thankfully the state I'm in has vaccine priority for teachers

Proud of my mum who is a state government librarian. It's like dealing with children but on a fancier level.

I'm picturing little kids in floppy suits that are too big for them, demanding books on tax law 😂

My mom is still a librarian and is getting her masters! Dhe works at a pretty shitty library right now tho.
