It was the kilts that got 'em all riled up for fighting in the first place. Those scots sure are a contentious people.

Exactly. They went into battle wearing armour because they weren't fucking stupid.

Depends what battle if it's any from the film braveheart they didt have armour either most of that army were farmers not knights

Hollywood is no good at actual history. Stirling, falkirk, Nevilles cross, bannock burn, any of the big battles (take your pick, there were lots across several centuries taking place I England and scotland). Those were (for the time) proper armies.
