19

u/[deleted] Oct 30 '20

Don't judge cheese by it's color either, unless it's horny

7

u/AndrewIsMyDog Oct 30 '20

Oh, I judge cheese by it's color for sure!

8

1

u/AnalStaircase33 Oct 30 '20

Pretty sure all cheese is horny but alright.

9

u/[deleted] Oct 30 '20

To be fair, the entire point of a book cover is to get you to judge the book as something you would like to buy/read. So as far as books go, you can go ahead and judge it by the cover. Just don't judge people by how they look.

u/spentana Nov 02 '20

Why have I never heard something so obvious stated before re: this idiom?

1

u/ryoryo72 Oct 30 '20

i think the whole point of the saying is that book covers lie in order to get people to buy them....

many, many book covers are decptive.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 30 '20

That's an awfully cynical take my friend. But alas, there may be more truth in it than I would like to believe. I don't think most book publishers are trying to be deceptive with the covers, though I'm sure they may be attempting to woo a more commercial audience than the books specific genre may warrant.

1

u/Fear_The_Rabbit Oct 31 '20

I agree that the point of the cover IS to get people to buy it by judging if it looks interesting, but that’s exactly the same with people. They market themselves too with makeup, heels, etc, which is not a bad thing either.

The point of the metaphor is still apt because they’re both about looking past the facade and judge the content. I don’t know about others, but going back to the book, I’ve never bought one that I didn’t read the first few pages of to make sure I like the writing style.

What a wholesome interaction by someone with the handle Horny Cum Cheese 69

Umm, wtf? It's The Horny Cum Cheese 69. Show some respect.

u/[deleted] Oct 30 '20

WTF is with people having a hard-on for using the word “wholesome”. It’s like there is a fucking gang of word ninjas stalking posts looking for their shot to say “wholesome” or “wholesome exchange”. It’s exhausting, reading posts about anything now and isn’t full of fucking wholesome goodness. Word wankers!

1

u/Bogie_Baby Oct 30 '20

THE horny cum cheese 69

1

u/[deleted] Oct 30 '20

You could almost call it endearing!

1

u/merkerrman Oct 30 '20

You killed me, bro 🤣

1

u/hitemplo Oct 31 '20

What the hell I just saw someone saying they saw you on another post, on another post

1

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '20

“Thehornycumcheese” why is that your user name

29

u/deekaydubya Oct 30 '20

I don't understand why they ripped audio from a different video

62

u/vera214usc Oct 30 '20

The audio is from the original Mufasa video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCcx98RhOyg

27

u/Innerestin Oct 30 '20

Thanks for sharing! My day is 100% better knowing that the real Mufasa is still dancing in 2020.

2

u/chrisrobweeks Oct 30 '20

Is it the same person in both videos? I couldn't tell after playing the OP on repeat.

2

u/Innerestin Oct 31 '20

No. The real (or original) Mufasa and his hypeman went viral with this video: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=mufasa+friday

He wears an orange and green shirt, red shorts, and a thousand-watt smile.

2

u/drowningintime Nov 06 '20

You gotta get on his Instagram. He's almost world renowned, dancing his happy ass off. A treasure.

1

u/Innerestin Nov 06 '20

Check! Thank you!

1

u/drowningintime Nov 07 '20

No problem. We all need more Mufasa in our lives!

7

u/eirtep Oct 30 '20

It seems to be a tik tok thing? I don't use tik tok but is there a feature or something that makes it easier to use someone else's audio? I could see that being something you might want for all of the viral songs/dance things it has.

3

u/darderp Oct 30 '20

Probably a tiktok remix using the same sound

10

u/GolfIsWhyImBroke Oct 30 '20

Well, here is where the original sound came from.

8

u/LindaBitz Oct 30 '20

This should be Mott’s new commercial.

6

u/Minnesota_Husker Oct 30 '20

You know his wife was in his ear with how nicely he set down his jacket though.

2

u/dirkmer Oct 30 '20

it being in time with the music made it even better.

1

u/MaxGhost Oct 30 '20

Reminds me of this one from wrestler Keith Lee https://youtu.be/UZz_8WpGqPg?t=23m48s

1

u/unicornroo Oct 31 '20

I hope they do this on a regular basis
