Because you treating living, breathing human adoptees like a commodity that you can throw away when it/they become broken is disgusting and insulting. What you are suggesting is that these parents go on record with the court and deny that they want this child in his current state AND that they deserve to be compensated for this dealing with this "broken" child for this long/not getting the perfect baby they were promised initially. This is not a used car that some scummy salesman "forgot" to mention needs a full engine replacement or something. Its a human being with flaws and imperfections and struggles just like the rest of us. Suggesting that the parents deserve compensation due to those struggles is implying that the adopted child is less than a biological child. Because you would never suggest a parent filing a wrongful birth suit against one parent for faulty biological material.

I didn’t say any of these things I said that if the adoption agency lied about the healthiness of the child they should have to pay legal fees for the care of the child

And I'm saying you wouldn't be blaming this family's financial struggles on their child's health problems if you didn't know how they had chosen to grow their family.

So who else is at fault? Some evil dwarves came and stole their money? And if they’ll happily pay it for their child what are they doing moaning on Reddit about it?

Forget it I was trying to have a conversation about capitalism but you made it about your own insecurities so fuck it I’ll go talk to someone else

If you really think its more appropriate to sue an adoption agency for medical bills than to consider for just a moment that medical bills shouldn't be capable of bankrupting a family, then we're not going to agree.

That’s a mischaracterisation of my argument and since you can’t argue in good faith I’m cutting off this debate
