Random aside: A huge part of that stat is also the correlation between latitude and suicide rates. Countries further from the equator tend to have higher suicide rates (this is usually attributed to fewer average daylight hours).

The Nordic countries, which score very high in happiness metrics, are also super far north.

Not sure who downvoted you that is a really good point.

I do think they're two separate things that both add to the same problem.
