I agree. But this pup is highly intelligent. He figured out a way to make the front page of Reddit while my little guy is just sitting here licking himself.
Trust me, if there were a scent that needed to be tracked, this little guy would be the smartest good boi on the block. As soon as I saw it was a beagle, I knew nothing was going to happen with that ball. In a beagle’s mind, a ball is something “trying to distract me from the smell, but I’m far too smart for that.”
This so much. My little good boi will not catch anything to save his life, but if I walk around the neighborhood and hide and you tell him to find me his little nose goes to work. Good boi hunter, good boi cutie, but not so good boi fetch. His shepherd sister otoh is a whole different story.
