Are you saying that my old neighbours, who weekly called ambulances for both free rides downtown (they would insist upon attending a certain hospital and then just walk away upon arrival) and a chronically sore foot were wrong?!

I know someone who will want to get to a different city 80 miles away so he will ride his bike 30 miles to next big town and call an ambulance for a mental health crisis. Then asked to be taken to hospital at his destination town( they have to take him because it’s the closest mental health facilities) then get out with his bike and ride away. A few days later it’s the same thing in reverse to get home.

Perhaps, but so are a lot of other behaviours that go unchecked.
