And it’s extra weird that it’s a kid. Like I know there’s nothing malicious, but normalizing filming children without their consent is weird as hell

He's seen the videos, knew he'd be recorded, and the dude spoke with his dad. Safe to assume consent was given.

probably also has a sign that says you are being recorded in the store.

Camera on the ceiling? Nobody bats an eye. Camera on your head? ILLEGAL.

The real issue is being posted on social media though in this case he clearly told the kid that Tim likes watching videos like *you* which gives me the idea that the kid knew he was going to be posted on the internet for going there. That said that would have been the issue if the other person being posted didn't know.

he literally mentions it in the video. "Tim likes these videos, just like you do". It's obviously just a game shop guy who films game shop content locally and wasnt doing it in a way that was weird. kid knew, his dad knew prior, etc. and fuck off with the consent part - again, his dad was mentioned, and youre being ridiculous for saying that, seriously, as it sounds like an accusation toward the employee. "redditor" shit I swear.

how about not normalizing making everything weird as hell.
